"I love you girl go on" Mercy said as she gave a mockery look to lucy still sitting on top of her.
Evelyn raise the big stick up and beat mercy on her head as she was surprised and scream at the same time for help.
Few minutes later
The struggle continues as mercy was badly wound, and her clothes were so dirty, two young guys ran towards them as the try to separate them from fighting.
It was a very bad evening for Evelyn as she went back home promising her self never to come back there again as she felt so humiliated.
Few days later....
Mr and Mrs Amaka sat in the dining as the eat rice and stew that early morning.
"My love this Evelyn has refused to come and pick her food early again until it get cold why is she always in that room all the time , try and talk to this your daughter she is getting worse by the day who is she displaying all this her naughty attitude for? " Mr Emaka ask as he got irritated and impatient.
"is ok my husband you know she is a lady and is thinking of how to make her life perfect don't worry I will talk to her " Mrs Emaka assure her husband as she continue eating her food.
Inside the room Evelyn sit on her bed which was not properly dress, with red eyes as one can easily tell she had really been crying.
She stood up from her bed and move towards the mirror looking at her self as more tears run down her face..
" Am I not beautiful enough , am I not sexy enough, what could have possibly made him do this to me does this means my 5 years is just wasted aaaaah, oh all my spending jezzz all my savings I gave it to him to start up a business so that we can get married " Evelyn said as this made her cry even more she slowly sit on the floor then later sleep on it crying so bitterly and feeling so helpless.
In the evening
Chima came back from his work place driving his car to his house as his gate man open the gate for him.
"Bayo bayo how is your day going" chima said with smile as he sighted a young beautiful girl sitting with him.
"Am fine sir very fine but..." Bayo said as he was about saying another thing.
"Eh don't worry no need to explain bayo I know is your girlfriend and she came to see you it ok by me so far you're happy " chima said as he drove in but notice the young girl stood up and move towards where he parked his car.
"Oga she talk say she want to see you and she don wait here for long, no be my girlfriend oh" bayo said loud enough even with the distance chima could still hear him as Chima wonder if he had ever seen such face before as she come towards him.
"Oh really is alright let's go inside dr" chima said as she smile and walk with him inside.
Few minutes later the young girl sat in the sitting room as she look around feeling so amaze
Chima came out with two cup of orange juice as she smile when she saw it Chima could also noticed how please she was with his house.
"I can see you like it here" Chima said smiling.
" Yes sir , so you live here alone? " She replied him with a shock look
" Hmm let say yes for now but soon I will soon have a wife and kids let's go to the reason why you're here" chima said as he look at her with a straight face.
" Hmm ok sir , let me start by introducing myself "she said as she drop her juice that was earlier given to her on the table.
" My name is Grace I don't know if my friend had told you anything about me before, but am here to tell you the truth" she said as she picked up her juice again and drank little.
" Oh your friend? Which friend pls and what Truth? " chima said as he sat more properly to hear her well.
"hmm sir it's a long story, I mean my friend patricia your fiance to be precise, pls don't have a mind set that am here to spoil your mine oh have always love and support her but this one she can't hurt you and I watch, I can't withstand it sir" Grace said as she could see chima's face changing gradually.
" I hope you're not angry with me sir" grace asked
" Not at all dr continue I want to her and see the truth" chima said as he was becoming impatient.
" Ok the truth is...... "
